Have Fun While It Lasts was a statement stretched across the front entrance of Art Center College of Design. It encouraged busy students to have fun while they are still in school rather than letting the prime of their lives go to entirely to the stress of work.

Sidewalk Chalk was the medium used because of its playful connotations, as well as the idea of time being temporary.
