Lonely Planet is a travel guide started by Maureen and Tony Wheeler, who in the 70's, decided that they wanted to travel around the world on a shoestring budget.
In 2009, Lonely Planet began circulating a magazine. This redesign brings the identity back to Lonely Planet's roots, where it focuses on the stories of passionate travellers. The magazine is more about the people that travel places than the places that people go.
